MySQLaux provides a few easy-to-use classes to facilitate the communication with a MySQL database server. the compiled class methods are linked together to the static, the shared, and the dynamic library libMySQLaux.a, libMySQLaux.so and libMySQLaux.la, respectively and should be used together with the appropriate mysqlclient library of the original MySQL distribution found at http://www.mysql.com.
the code has been tested on different linux platforms but is intended to be applicable wherever a recent gnu c++ compiler is used.
this piece of software has been in use for some private projects for some time
and seems to be useful for its purpose so far. it may be extended and improved
